Best Laid Plans is an abstract work in acrylic, oil, pastel, white out marker, and mixed media. Ultra-matte black is interrupted by splatters of gloss fluid black acrylic and pastel gestures in quinacridone magenta, benzimidazolone yellow, and teal. It features bad geometry and a few animal illustrations. It is a work of great frustration and requires lots of space so as not to alarm your guests.
This work is framed in black walnut. It is currently on display at Etsi Bravo in Pullman, WA.
